Growth is an important aspect of any business, but are you growing at a rate where your IT isn’t enough to support you anymore?
Is your company growing at a faster rate than you imagined? Have you adapted the way you work due to COVID-19 restrictions? Or do you believe that you are no longer getting what you need from your IT infrastructure or support? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then it may be time to rethink your IT.
Is your IT holding you back?
In recent studies, it has been found that 49% of workers are prepared to quit their job if their workplace technology is not up to scratch.
Don’t let IT prevent you from reaching your goals, it is there to help you achieve success not to hold you back. Your business IT should be designed to work around your needs, not you adapting to work with it.
But is re-thinking my IT a bit drastic? Absolutely not, it may sound scary, but in fact, it comes down to many different factors; whether you want to upgrade your equipment, buy more hardware, increase your IT support, or even create a new process for employees, it doesn’t necessarily have to mean big changes – it is finding what works for you.
Plan for growth
We don’t expect everyone to be experts, especially if their job is not primarily IT, and if you are encountering problems that are affecting your ability to work, now is the time to act (or at least plan for). As we always say, planning is one step closer to success, whether you think you need to change something now, or later – planning for it now means that you are not caught short. IT is a big part of business and can cause serious downtime, lack of effort and staff morale. Don’t let your IT hold you back, get out there and soar!
