The task
As CatSci handle large amounts of sensitive data, the security and maintenance of their IT infrastructure is incredibly important.
In order to facilitate their continued growth in a cost-effective way, they needed to know that their IT could keep up – that’s where Nebula came in!
Our response
CatSci approached us as they needed a resource to bolster their internal IT team. They needed our co-managed IT service!
The Nebula team would pick up any excess jobs that Toby and his team didn’t have the time for; we’d work together in partnership to help ensure CatSci could keep growing (and that everything continued running smoothly).
Over the last two years, we have provided a wide variety of IT support, including (but not limited to):
- Taking on day-to-day tasks (updates, laptop setup, etc.)
- Replacing two servers
- Installing a new firewall
- Handling CatSci’s disaster recovery (backups)
To support their continued growth, CatSci have just commissioned 2 new laboratories! Nebula technicians will help to reduce the stress on internal staff throughout by helping with many of the rigorous setup jobs – what an exciting time!
