We are delighted to announce that Chris Pottrell, managing director of Nebula IT, has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award in the 2017 Business Leader Awards.
Hosted this year by BBC Newsnight’s Jeremy Vine, the Business Leader Awards are the official awards ceremony of Business Leader magazine. The event is a prestigious date in the business calendar of Bristol and the South West. It is an occasion dedicated to celebrating enterprise throughout the region. The most influential leaders in business, education and government will be brought together to recognise and celebrate business success.
The Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award is open to business owners, professionals and managers under the age of 35. To be shortlisted for this award, applicants must be able to demonstrate enterprise, innovation, entrepreneurial flair and evidence of contribution to the local community. Something that Chris was amply able to do.
On his shortlisting for this award, Chris commented:
I’m proud to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. This is the first award we’ve entered, so just to get through to this stage is fantastic. We take an innovative approach to IT, whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service. The whole team have worked so hard to make Nebula IT the company it is, so it’s a great feeling to see that all our hard work is being recognised.
Exciting times
Nebula IT has been shortlisted alongside three other companies, and the winner of the Rising Star award will be announced at the awards ceremony on 28th September 2017 at Ashton Gate, Bristol.
It’s been an exciting few months for us here at Nebula IT, with our recent move into a bigger office. Now based on the South-East outskirts of Bristol, we are ideally placed to serve our clients in both Bristol and Bath.
