We’ve always got one eye on the future at Nebula and so, for this month’s team news update, we thought we’d check in with our junior support engineers Jason and Ross.

The dynamic duo has recently taken their MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) exams at college. Here’s what they’ve been studying:

98-368 MTA Mobility and Device Fundamentals – This module is all about how and where information is sent, covering the allocation of IP addresses and the setting up of different subnets to create effective networks.

98-366: MTA Networking Fundamentals – Delving deep into Office 365 and Windows 10,  this module teaches students about the different subscription types on offer, as well as the importance of backing up data.

98-369 Cloud Fundamentals – We regularly bang the drum for the benefits which cloud software can bring to your business, and here are the latest members of our team continuing on their path to mastery in this area. Cloud Fundamentals is about getting to grips with Intune and Azure, Microsoft’s cloud services. Among other things, our apprentices have learned how to set up domains and how to manage multiple devices connected to the cloud.

We talk about the importance of training a lot, and we like to practise what we preach. By upskilling our junior staff with college classes and exams, we can ensure that we stay bang up to date with new technology, and are able to offer our clients the most effective service possible.
