With our office move complete, we thought it was time to expand our Nebula knowledgebase as well.
Which is where Chris and Cameron fit in. Bringing two different IT backgrounds and experiences, we are excited to welcome both to the team and have asked them a few questions to help you get to know them as well…

Tell us about your career to date?
I officially moved into IT back in 2014 as an IT Administrator at a renewable energy company, where I was mostly responsible for looking after contracts, licenses, purchasing and taking messages. . My keen interest in IT and, then, youthful enthusiasm helped me get more and more involved in the IT side of things, then before long, I was a fully-fledged member of the service desk. I was then promoted to a Desktop Infrastructure Engineer role before spending the last 4 years as an IT Support Engineer at a telecoms company, where I learned a great deal. I then fancied a change so here I am now at Nebula, where I will hopefully spend many years!
What is your favourite bit of tech?
My current Surfacebook – purchased back in 2016, it has seen me through 3 jobs, a couple of national lockdowns and many hours of YouTube. It’s still going strong!
What are your interests away from work?
Football – playing and watching (I’m a big Liverpool fan and non-league football enthusiast), Netflix (anything sci-fi, horror, fantasy, or comedy), playing around with new tech, gaming, fruit flavoured ciders and hot tubs.

Tell us about your career to date?
I have been wanting to work in IT since I was about 11. Growing up with a father figure that worked heavily in IT, set the foundation for my career path. When I came home from school, I would hope that my uncle was working from home so I could get an early knowledge of Active Directory and on-premise exchange. Once I left school and completed my IT qualification in college, I went on and started an apprenticeship in IT. This is when I landed my first job. As time went on, I spent the next 5 years learning the ins and outs of many different IT systems. I then saw Nebula IT and found the next chapter in my career.
What is your favourite bit of tech?
My current favourite bit of tech is sitting behind a 49-inch ultra-wide monitor plugged into my over-specced PC. Growing up I was not into tech much, the most I would be interested in was spending time with “the lads” on the Xbox.
What are your interests away from work?
Currently, my interests are playing football with a local team in Calne, or playing video games on my PC with my online friend group.
