Nebula News: Introducing Aaron, our new second line support technician.

We are going from strength to strength here at Nebula, and we are excited to introduce Aaron as the newest member of our support team.

With Aaron as an additional escalation point, we have expanded our capacity to look after you and all of our customers. He joins us with specialist knowledge to solve more complex problems than those that occur day-to-day. Meaning that we will be able to continue responding promptly to all your more complex needs as we continue to grow ourselves.

We caught up with Aaron to find a little bit more about him.

Tell us about your career to date?

I started my journey into IT a mere two years ago in a software developing company based in Bath. During my time there, I was working as a first-line engineer handling any range of requests regarding the software we developed, providing support and advice to our customers. After developing my skills over time, I was then offered a position in a law firm based across the south of England, where I worked as a second-line engineer working with a range of Microsoft technologies. After working hard to move up the ladder, I’m very happy to be welcomed as the newest member of the Nebula team.

What is your favourite bit of tech?

Since I could walk and talk, I’ve always been into games due to having a very tech headed father. As I grew older, I was able to work hard and get my hands on the latest gaming kit. My favourite would have to be the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. It’s very exciting to think about how to tech has developed in the last few years and I’m looking forward to where it’s heading.

What are your interests away from work?

I’m very techy when it comes to out of work hobbies, ranging from repairing phones for friends and family, updating websites, coding a new app for fun or playing the latest games with friends, I’m always on the path of learning more skills and having fun whilst doing it.
